What to do before making an appointment?
If you have insurance please take advantage of our complimentary Insurance Authorization and Billing Support Services. This complimentary service is provided by a third party (KRD Solutions) and is available to all of Dr. Cole's clients to help them navigate the increasingly complex behavioral health insurance system. How to pay for services?
You can pay for services with cash, by check, or with any major credit card. To pay online with a credit card, click here.
What is the cost of a session?
The cost of your session will vary depending on the type and duration of your appointment. These costs are as follows:
- Intake Session ($175 or Insurance Co-Pay)
- Regular Session ($125 or Insurance Co-Pay)
- Pre-Marital Counseling ($275 for the prepare-enrich assessment and 2 sessions)
- Personal and Professional Life Coaching ($195 per 90 minute session - Coaching is not covered by insurance)
What about insurance?
Although most major insurance companies and EAP programs cover Dr. Cole's services, please do not assume you are covered until you have received authorization from your insurance provider.
For your convenience, we have contracted with a third party (KRD Solutions) to help you with many of your insurance support needs, including authorizations and filing claims. The frequency of appointments is based upon your needs and financial concerns, however I recommend weekly or biweekly appointments for the first four sessions in order to build the foundation of the therapeutic relationship.
When do administrative support costs apply?
In some instance, we charge administrative support costs. For example, if we are required to communicate with physicians, attorneys, medical record clerks, law enforcement, teen crisis centers, etc., we require a retainer to cover the cost of our time. These costs are billed as follows:
01-15 Minutes ($45)15-30 Minutes ($60)30-45 Minutes ($100)45-60 Minutes ($150)In the event that Dr. Cole is required to appear as a witness in a court case related to your therapy you will also be responsible for covering his expenses, including time away from his practice, travel to and from the court house, lodging expenses, etc. Again, if these types of communications are needed we require a retainer based on the estimated amount of time that will be consumed by these activities.
